Custom Steering Column Cover

At the start of 2025, we were approached by a client to design a custom steering wheel cover for their Honda EK Civic. They had modified steering components, which left a gap in their existing cover. We were able to design and iterate on a custom part from nearly 500 miles away, which was then 3D printed from the client’s own printer, all without access to the stock components, or the client’s hardware.

During this process, we…

• Designed a custom part directly from photos given to us from the client.

• Iterated on the design to meet their specific mounting needs, also directly from client-provided images.

• Added custom text.

• Corrected for dimensional calibration errors in the client’s hardware.

• Delivered a custom G-code file, so the client was able to manufacture the part with their own hardware. No shipping necessary.
